Broughton Councillor Chrissy Gee joins Flintshire People’s Voice

Cllr Chrissy Gee, who represents the Broughton South ward on Flintshire County Council, has joined Flintshire People’s Voice, increasing the number of Councillors the party has on Flintshire County Council to six.

Welcoming Cllr Gee to FPV, party leader Sam Swash said: “Chrissy is both an excellent ward Councillor and a fearless campaigner. She always stands up for her residents and will not shy away from taking on vested interests. Like the rest of us in Flintshire People’s Voice, Chrissy is fed up of the Labour-Independent coalition’s rudderless leadership of the Council, and will be a great asset to us in our fight for a better, more ambitious Flintshire.”

Chrissy said: “After the Independent group agreed to a deal to prop up the Labour administration they all stood against at the election, I immediately resigned from the Independent group. From Aura to bin collections and Council Tax, Flintshire People’s Voice has been an incredibly effective opposition. I love what they stand for and it was a no brainer for me to join FPV.”

Welcome to Flintshire People’s Voice, Chrissy!
